We offer a range of interesting walks in and around Wells, the smallest city in England, set in stunning countryside at the foot of the Mendip Hills.  Whether you want to learn about the history of Wells and behold its wealth of medieval buildings, or simply stroll through the woods and fields, we can make sure that you really get the most from your visit.

Choose from: Heritage walk, Hot Fuzz film location walk, countryside rambles, children's walk, literary walk, ghost walk, food history walk, film and TV walk or talks and presentations. The weekly Wednesday Heritage Walks at 11am are running from April 19th until the second Wednesday in October (on Wed 13th Sept the walk leaves at 12 noon). You can also book a walk at any time throughout the year just for your group.

Gift vouchers available.

Our popular Ghost Walk is back on Sat 28th Oct at 7pm. Meet outside The Crown, the spookiest building in our city.

HOT FUZZ
Come and enjoy the delights of Sandford
, the community that cares! We will show you the main film locations, let you into some of the secrets you don't hear about on the DVD extras and give you an idea of what it's really like to live in the best kept village! Think you know the film? Well make sure you do your homework because your guide will be testing your knowledge during the walk (a good excuse to watch Hot Fuzz again before you get here).

Check out our rave reviews on trip advisor to see what people thought of the tour.

All tours leave from The Crown in the Market Place, as seen in the film. Why not grab a quick cranberry juice before we set off. The tour finishes there too so do leave time for a drink and a bite to eat. You can also pick up souvenirs there.

NEXT DATES: Sat 7th Oct at 1pm / Sat 28th Oct at 2pm /Sat 18th Nov at 2pm
